Fluoride is a mineral used systemically and topically to prevent dental caries. Concentrations and strengths are based on fluoride ion. Oral drops/solution: Fluoritab, NaFrinse, and generics 0.125 mg/drop (30 mL); generics 0.5 mg/mL (50 mL). Chewable tablets: Fluoritab, NaFrinse, and generics 1 mg; generics 0.25 mg and 0.5 mg.
