Human factor XIII concentrate for congenital factor XIII deficiency: prophylaxis 40 IU/kg IV every 28 days and perioperative management guided by time since last dose and FXIII activity (trough 5–20%). Neonates and children may need dose/interval adjustments due to shorter half-life. Plasma-derived; risk of infection transmission and inhibitors.
