CAN Score (Fetal Malnutrition / IUGR Assessment) is a growth & development tool commonly applied in Neonatology. Metcoff Clinical Assessment of Nutritional status: nine body regions graded 1–4 (worse to preserved nutrition), summed to 9–36. Common threshold <24–25 for fetal malnutrition; use alongside birthweight/length for gestational age and clinical context.
