Replacement therapy for severe congenital protein C deficiency: prevention and treatment of venous thrombosis and purpura fulminans. IV: acute 100–120 IU/kg load, then 60–80 IU/kg q6h × 3, then 45–60 IU/kg q6–12h; long-term prophylaxis 45–60 IU/kg q12h. Target peak 100%, trough >25%. Infuse at 100 IU/mL, max 0.2 mL/kg/min.
