Primidone is a barbiturate-related anticonvulsant used for the management of generalized tonic–clonic and partial seizures. It is metabolized to phenobarbital and phenylethylmalonamide (PEMA) and shares many interactions and toxicities with phenobarbital. Tablets: 50 mg, 250 mg.
