Hydroxyzine is an antihistamine with anxiolytic and antiemetic effects, used for pruritus, anxiety, and as an antiemetic. Available as hydrochloride (HCl) and pamoate salts; pamoate and HCl are equivalent in mg of hydroxyzine. Tablets (HCl): 10, 25, 50 mg. Capsules (pamoate): 25, 50, 100 mg.
