Furosemide is a potent loop diuretic used for the management of edema associated with heart failure, renal disease, and hepatic disease, and for treatment of hypertension and acute pulmonary edema. Tablets: 20, 40, 80 mg. Injection: 10 mg/mL (2, 4, 10 mL). Oral solution: 10 mg/mL (60, 120 mL), 40 mg/5 mL (500 mL).
